A pretty major announcement has been released from Ganz. They say that there are some new developments for future Webkinz. They also answered some important questions from the Webkinz crowd.
No more Cheeky Webkinz will be made anymore. They will not take retired Webkinz and take them out of retirement. Just think of all the people who spent thousands on their Cheeky Dog for them to do something like that.
Also Webkinz World will be expanded for everybody, so it'll be even bigger for everyone to play in. How exciting.
And finally, the best announcement is that there is now secure trading in Webkinz World. All those stories of people cheating others will be taken care of. This is probably the best announcement for Webkinz users.
A great new array of Webkinz products have been released! You can now find mousepads, lip gloss, and mousepads available for sale in stores.

I just stumbled on a post over at kinz-land.com. They had a survey on their blog. They received 677 responses to their poll on how many Webkinz they own.
The result was that 18% own 20+ Webkinz. That's incredible! More than half owned at least 6+ Webkinz. These are staggering numbers!
I can only imagine how crazy it is going to be this holiday season. All I have to say is that you better ready pull the trigger on your favorite Webkinz coming up FAST. The Webkinz for sale are going to fly. I can only imagine how much the retired Webkinz are going to be.

This is big news as Ganz has announced the Pet of the Month program. Every month starting October 1st, there will be a Webkinz announced as the Pet of the Month. If you adop this pet during the month, you will get gifts, Kinz Cash, and other awesome virtual items.
This is gonna be huge, and we are already know who the first pet of the month is. It will be Webkinz Frog. You can find it here on eBay or Amazon.
Remember, have a Webkinz Frog in your hands in October!

1. Adopt the Pet of the Month during the right period (Webkinz Frog in October)
2. You can buy it ahead of time but just don't use the code yet (you'll get warned if you try earlier)

Yeah you heard me! The execs at Mattel are all over the new Webkinz craze. Actually, I'm sure every toy company in the world has its eyes on Webkinz.
Barbie launched a virtual world three months ago after seeing the success of Ganz's Webkinz and Club Penguin. Now the real copy part comes in with their new Barbie doll, which is a new Barbie Girls mp3 doll.
It's a mp3 player that can have accessories added on like a doll. There is also special features like you can get cool animations. Like Webkinz, you can make friends and shop in a virtual world. The mp3 player can hold only 120 Mp3s.
I'm not sure what to think. They are trying to compete with Apple's iPod and Webkinz at the same time. Do I really want to dress up a MP3 player?
Not really. I guess we'll have to find out. I'm still going to be finding more Webkinz for sale. Gotta get em all.
Webkinz are just stuffed animals! However, they are not just any ordinary stuffed animal. They are stuffed toys that also live on the web. The marketing geniuses over at Ganz, the company behind Webkinz, added the way for the stuffed animals to live in the online world. Kids spend countless hours building and experiencing an environment with tens of thousands of other kids. The pure obsession with Webkinz is causing retired Webkinz for sale to be valued at $1000 each!
The first retired Webkinz is the Cheeky Dog. You will find this Webkinz for sale on eBay for almost $1000. On other online stores, they are already selling for over $1200. In addition, there was recently an auction on eBay for a selling price of $7999 after 32 bids. It consisted of 107 Webkinz with 23 retired. However, it did not meet the reserve price, so I don't know if it actually sold. But look at this perspective, there was a bidding war to pay almost $8000 on stuffed animals.
Why are people paying so much? There is value in the toys. The scarcity and cool factor of the toys make it so sought over. The online experience is so compelling that having one of the rare Webkinz does not only give you bragging rights in real life, but also in the online world. This is serious business for these kids!
At first I was intimidated by the prices, I then realized that Webkinz was here to stay. I firmly believe the prices will keep going up and up for a long time because Webkinz has done something revolutionary. I would know because I've been in the business world for awhile. First of all, kids love to dress up their dolls, draw, pretend play, build things, show, act, and just play around with other kids in another world. Ganz's Webkinz has done all of this!
To top it off, the business geniuses over at Ganz used scarcity, forced replacement, cross selling, and education to make it even a more addictive product. I'll go into this later in a more detailed post, but here's my point. Webkinz is not going anywhere! It's not another Beanie Babies because they offer so much more than just a stuffed animal. It doesn't matter if you are a business person, teenager, child, adult, parent or anybody else, you need to keep both eyes open for Webkinz. My prediction is that the current retired Webkinz for sale in the thousands will keep doubling in value like has been for years!

Two Webkinz were recently retired, which means you better go off and find these Webkinz for sale when they are still cheap. Some of the older retired Webkinz have been going for almost $1000 on ebay! The two recently retired Webkinz are the St. Bernard and Pegasus.
As with all retired Webkinz, they are already sold out in all of the local stores. If you still want a chance to get one you better go on eBay or Amazon to get one while they are still cheap. To give you an example, Cheeky Dog has been selling for well over $900 now.
